Ulead DVD Workshop 1.2 SE Update Patch for Canopus Capture Devices
The DVD Workshop 1.2 SE Update Patch for Canopus provides end users who use Canopus capture devices such as DVstorm, MTV series capture card, and other cards with Panasonic off-line rendering hardware chipsets, yielding an enhancement to DVD video quality and more choices.

DVD Workshop 1.2 SE Patch for Canopus Capture Devices

NOTE: For Canopus users please do not apply the 1.3 Patch; otherwise you will lose these Canopus support features.

Enhancements:

  • Switch Canopus StormEncoder and Main concept codec in template setting and customize setting
  • Support Canopus MTV series capture card and DVStorm with StormEncoder and other types of capture cards
  • Enable Hardware encoding and Mainconcept codec encoder to NTSC and PAL
  • Make Half D1 size MPEG File with Canopus StormEncoder and Mainconcept codec
  • Specify some frame sizes and bit rates to output Pal and NTSC files by Mainconcept codec and Hardware encoder

NOTEs:

  • About the Pal and NTSC system in Hardware encoding, please pay attention to set your TV system to the same setting for the Canopus software and Ulead DVD Workshop
  • About half D1 size (352*480) renders, please keep in mind to uncheck the [Do not convert compliant files] option, and then users could get the results they want
  • About the SVCD option in Hardware, because StormEncoder is not able to support this function, so the hardware encoding in Ulead DVD Workshop will also not support this function

Bugs fixed:

  • Disordered words in the Japanese version
  • Incorrect links to web pages
  • Hardware and software render switch function
  • Failed when rendering half D1 size clips
  • Conflict problem with Canopus MPEGTOOLS
